From 1972 to 1985 the German Motor Racing Championship (DRM) was Germany's most important motor racing series and produced racing giants such as Hans-Joachim 'Striezel' Stuck. The Carrera Digital 132 'DRM Retro Race' set pays homage to legendary racing cars that wrote motor racing history. Three dream racers line up at the start: The Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo 'Liqui Moly Equipe No. 55' was sponsored by Carrera back then and is now a permanent feature of the front spoiler on this classic drive. However, the car's rivals, the Porsche 938/78 'Moby Dick' and the BMW M1 Procar 'Sauber Racing, No. 90' are right on his heels and put their feet to the floor around the 8-metre / 26.25 ft. racing circuit.

Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo "Liqui Moly Equipe, No.55"(20030817)

Support from Carrera Carrera has been a major name in the motor racing world for several decades and in 1981 sponsored the Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo driven by Manfred Winkelhock. Winkelhock drove the car to victory in the DRM race around the Nürburgring circuit. The bodywork was painted in green, white and red, allowing the Carrera logo to be accommodated perfectly. The Carrera DIGITAL 132 Ford Capri Zakspeed Turbo "Liqui Moly Equipe, No.55" slotcar is an impressive, faithfully detailed reproduction with head, tail and brake lights. This Carrera car can be individually coded, is digitally controllable and guarantees authentic racing thrills.

Porsche 935/78 "Moby Dick" DRM Norisring 1981 (20030855)

The Porsche 935/78 was first manufactured in 1978. Alongside the various technical adaptations, this car was distinguished by its considerable dimensions. It's no surprise the Porsche was given the nickname "Moby Dick" by the works mechanics, after the white sperm whale in the novel by Herman Melville. This version of the Porsche 935/78 in the unmistakeable paintjob of the Italian manufacturers of steering wheels and rims, "Momo", proved just what extraordinary feats it was capable of at the Norisring race in 1981. The 80s livery achieved cult status and, although it was adapted over the years, the yellow writing on a red background was a permanent feature. The Porsche 935/78 "Moby Dick" DRM Norisring 1981 is equipped with headlights, rear and brake lights, and turns heads with its faithful reproduction of original details. The Carrera car can be individually coded, it's digitally controllable and guarantees genuine racing thrills!

BMW M1 Procar "Sauber Racing, No.90", Norisring 1980 (20030830)

The Procar Series race in Nuremberg in 1980 involved 50 laps around a 2.3km circuit. Marc Surer in the BMW M1 Procar was one of the heroes of the fourth race at the Norisring. He was sensationally successful with the best time in training and third place in the race. The look of the BMW also got people talking. The light blue already makes the car an eye-catcher, and the clever zip motif that covers the racer in bright yellow shows how innovative BMW were prepared to be with this car. The BMW M1 Procar "Sauber Racing, No.90", Norisring 1980 is equipped with headlights, rear and brake lights, and turns heads with its faithful reproduction of original details. The Carrera car can be individually coded, it's digitally controllable and guarantees genuine racing thrills!
